ONE BOY AND HIS KOP
Evo's ten-year odyssey of emotions starts in 1964 as a ten-year-old boy. Join him as he takes you through the highs, the lows, the triumphs, the tragedies, the scams, the scallying, the rip-offs, the laughs and sometimes even the plain sadness as he strives to achieve the dual Holy Grail of losing his cherry and becoming No. 1 Kopite.

ONE BOY AND HIS KOP
By Peter Etherington.
HERE ARE A FEW READER REVIEWS
ALLAN DUGGAN: LFC REDS IN AMERICA
Thoroughly enjoyed it - wet myself laughing at times Evo. My mum thought it was great too. She say's you're a "Real scouse lad." That's praise indeed ! Also, it was great to hear about Tesco's in Linacre Road and the Corry / Salt Box / Ma Kents etc. Brought back really great memories.

STEVE CORRIGAN: RAWK
Have to say - that was a great read! I finished the book and was very disappointed only 'because I wanted to keep reading though. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.
Roll on One Man and His Kop!

MIKE TRODDEN: MANCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTER.
I can confidently say that this is one for the man in the street; one for football fans of any persuasion (even Everton fans!!! ) and most importantly a social document which will give future generations a clear indication of how certain parts of our society lived in the 20th century: of course I mean us the working class.
Plenty of historical events are recorded but are mostly about the lives of people from the upper classes who have the good life given to them at birth.
This book will open many peoples eyes to facts they would rather not know, such as the dependence of some working class families on money lenders which our upper classes believe died out in the 19th century.
The football is obviously written about by somebody who not only loves the game but has a remarkable understanding of it,-------even as far as conceding that many talented players did indeed belong to clubs other than Liverpool.
I have been a Manchester United fan from the day I first stood on the Stretford end (1956) so you will realise how much it goes against the grain to admit that a Liverpool supporter has written a great book, but it's true, and if you are a fan, or you just like a good read, this book is a must.
